Privacy
This page describes the analytics product at WebTrackNext. It is written for the current preview, not as a substitute for counsel.
Who we are
WebTrackNext is a product of IndiaHostClub. Account data and analytics events live in the MySQL database configured for this app.
Account data
When you register we store your name, email, and a password hash. We use that to sign you in and attach websites to your workspace.
Website analytics
If you install the public script, the browser sends page views, heartbeats, and optional events. We store page path, referrer origin, source, device, browser, operating system, and hashed visitor and session identifiers. Country may be stored when an edge header provides it. City is stored only if a GeoIP database is enabled later.
What we do not store
The collect API does not save raw IP addresses. Search queries are not taken from referrers. The public script does not contain a private secret.
Cookies and local storage
The dashboard uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. The tracking script may keep a visitor id in the visitor’s browser so returning sessions can be linked on that site only.
Do Not Track and exclusions
A site can honor Do Not Track. You can exclude an IP address or a path, including its subpages, from website settings.
Uptime probes
Our servers request your registered URL on a schedule. Those checks record HTTP status, response time, and certificate expiry. They are not visitor analytics.
