Reports for pages, sources, and campaigns

Traffic reports split the visit into the pages people opened and the place they came from. Search queries from the referrer are not stored. The panels are examples of the report layout. They are not a live customer account.

Pages and sources

Top pages list views and visitors. A landing page is the first page of a visit. An exit page is the last. Referrers list the source and the referring site. Campaigns lists visits that include utm_campaign, with utm_source and utm_medium.

Use case. A newsletter uses utm_source=newsletter, utm_medium=email, and utm_campaign=spring. Those visits appear on Campaigns, separate from ordinary referrals.

Limits

  • utm_term and utm_content are not separate columns.
  • A path exclusion such as /admin also skips its subpages.
  • A single-page app does not send a new page view when only the route changes.
Example · Landing pages
  • /pricing86 visits
  • /64 visits
  • /features31 visits
